Progress of the study:
01.04.2023 – 30.09.2023.
Several combinations of active substances, bases and preservatives were created. Base creams with active ingredients were developed and stability tests are being carried out. The activity involving combinations of antimicrobial substances and the development of new preservation technologies has been completed, and several natural cream variants were successfully obtained with 7 different emulsifiers and mixtures of antimicrobial substances. For the washing product, several stable variants were developed with 5 different emulsifiers and cleansing substances.
01.10.2023 – 31.12.2023.
The project included testing preservatives and developing and testing a new preservation technology in a laboratory environment, selecting combinations of preservatives with active substances. Based on the results of preservative-effectiveness tests, two different stable product systems that can be scaled up were selected. An interim result for the reporting period was achieved — 8 base cream variants with combinations of antimicrobial substances were created.
01.01.2024 – 31.03.2024.
Work continued on preparing the scientific publication. The product was scaled up for an In-vivo study.
01.04.2024–30.06.2024.
Work was carried out on developing the production technology; production protocols were prepared for daily-care products for psoriasis-affected skin, and the formulation was scaled up based on the doctors' recommendations received.
01.07.2024 – 30.09.2024.
In the third quarter of 2024, the research project "Development of therapeutic recommendations for the daily skin care of psoriasis patients using naturally derived active substances encapsulated in cosmetics, and development of its production technology" involved the gradual transfer of laboratory scales to volumes of 20 L, 100 L and 200 L, as well as scaling and refining the formulation according to the physical and chemical parameters obtained in the laboratory.
01.10.2024 – 31.12.2024.
Work continued on creating the production technology and scaling the formulation.
01.01.2025 – 31.03.2025.
The formulation was refined based on the interim results of the In-vivo study. A scientific-paper manuscript was developed and submitted for publication.
